Environmental Stakeholder Analyses in the field of animal health

Description
Despite numerous efforts to increase the animal health status, the level of production diseases in livestock production remains on an unsatisfying high level. The communication structure and framework conditions in terms of animal health have been a topic of a study taking different stakeholder perspectives into account. Findings revealed a quite complex situation due to the plurality of stakeholders, leading to self-referential judgements and role expectations. To overcome these barriers the establishment of target goals in terms of the prevalence of selected production diseases is valued to be an essential precondition for any improvement of the animal health status.
