Urban Climate Map Hong Kong

Abstract
In a framework of a ventilation study Hong Kong for planning assessment a urban climate map is carried out. With a GIS based methodology air paths, thermal comfort investigations are done and plannig proposals werre derived. A velocity ration for Hong Kong will be developed in the use of limits for urban density. The project is carried out in cooperation with the Chinese University Hong Kong (CUHK) and the planning department of Hong Kong Government (PlanD)
