Abstract
In the scope of this paper the measured long term settlement behaviour of the Messeturm founded on a piled raft in overconsolidated Frankfurt Clay has been back-analyzed by means of three dimensional coupled pore pressure-displacement finite element analyses. Applying Mašín's hypoplastic material law which allows to consider creep effects for the Frankfurt Clay yielded reasonable agreement between measurements and analysis.
