Abstract
Premagnetization can be used to reduce the size weight and losses of inductors. Due to the non-symmetric LIcurve of these inductors they are typically only used in unidirectional dc converters. This paper introduces and discusses three topologies with premagnetized inductors for dc-ac conversion including measurement results for one topology.
