Cow dung in pastures provides important habitats for invertebrate diversity in farmland landscapes. We investigated the dung beetle diversity on grazed grass-clover leys in two organic dairy farms with different site conditions in Germany. Both farms showed a similar high richness (21 / 20 species) and abundance (4540 / 4595 individuals) with large seasonal fluctuations from May to November. The results provide valuable infor-mation on the importance of grazed grass-clover leys in arable landscapes.
