Zusammenfassung, Abstract
A new sensor for the beam current measurement is under design at the department of Measurement Engineering at University of Kassel and GSI Darmstadt. AMR-, GMR-, and GMI-sensors have been investigated for their suitability for the clip-on ampere-meter. The results will be discussed and an outlook for further development will be presented.
