The mechanical properties of self-reinforced polypropylene composites can be especially varied in mono-extrudates by means of the processing settings. In this study, three self-reinforced PP-composite systems will be investigated in regards of their structure-property-relationship. For this reason, morphological and mechanical characterisations of two composite sections of a thermomechanically graded composite will be carried out with the aid of impact properties and assessed accordingly.
