Dr. Seyed Amir Hamze Beati
Research Interest
Since September 2016 I have moved back to Germany to start as a junior group leader at the University of Kassel. I combine quantitative mass spectrometry with molecular cell biology to identify substrates of distinct protein kinases. In particular I am interested in the dynamic interaction of polarity complexes controlled by phosphorylation, which is a fundamental prerequisite to control the proper function of epithelial tissues during development. The mass spectrometry analyses are carried out in the Fingerprints Facility of the School of Life Sciences in Dundee.
